What we process

When you use the calculator, the service processes the birth date, birth time when known, gender, and selected birth city needed to calculate a chart and apply true solar time. The free calculator does not require an account. Its calculation request is processed by our server without creating a saved AI-reading record.

Payments

Paid checkout may be unavailable unless it is explicitly enabled. New orders use Waffo; historical PayPal orders continue to be processed and reconciled by PayPal. When enabled, Waffo processes the payment approval and the service retains only the provider references, amounts, currency and payment status needed to verify the order, deliver the report, and handle refunds or disputes. Signed notifications may also contain buyer email and billing fields; these are processed transiently for verification and are not persisted or logged by this service. The checkout and purchase terms identify the current processor, price, delivery, and refund terms before approval.

Order, entitlement, report, and payment-event records remain private and server-only. While public checkout is disabled, ordinary accounts cannot create new payment records. During a controlled rollout, only explicitly designated, authenticated test accounts can purchase. Closing both public checkout and test access stops new purchases; signed notifications still reconcile existing payments. Payment records do not include your birth details or report text.

Buying a new account bundle does not select a chart or save a copy of your birth details for that purchase. When you use the included personal report, you choose a saved chart and the report language. We then save a private copy of the birth details and calculated chart, the information used to identify that chart and calculation version, the report language, the five-year period fixed at purchase, and the allowance of five report follow-up questions. Using the report later does not change its purchase-year period.

Older v2 purchases required a chart to be selected at checkout. While checkout is unresolved, we keep a separate private copy of that chart, its birth details and identifying information, the selected language, calculation version, purchase-year period and allowance of five report follow-up questions. This pending copy is not sent to the browser or included in analytics. Once payment is verified and access is granted, we transfer it to the private report and access records and remove the pending copy in the same data update. A confirmed refund or payment dispute also removes the pending copy. Authorized support staff may remove it when releasing an unpaid order, after confirming that the original checkout and every replacement checkout can no longer accept payment and that no payment or refund remains to be reconciled. Failed or expired orders may retain this copy so an authorized recovery can still complete the original purchase.

Once outstanding orders are resolved, deleting an eligible account removes its private report data. We may retain the minimum financial order records needed for accounting and payment disputes.

Accounts and saved readings

If you choose to save a chart, access a purchased report, or ask a report follow-up question, Supabase provides passwordless email or Google authentication. We store your account identifier, email when supplied by the provider, validated birth parameters, the server-calculated chart, and any generated reading in a private account record. Your browser cannot query these private business tables directly. Our authenticated server endpoints re-check your account and record ownership and return only the data needed for the requested page. Records remain stored so you can load them again until you delete the records or your account.

If you rate a paid report, we store only the selected usefulness rating and an optional predefined improvement category. The feedback record does not copy your birth details, chart, report text, follow-up questions, or a free-form comment.

Supabase encrypts hosted project storage and backups at rest. Saved chart parameters and one-time report content are not end-to-end or field-level encrypted inside the live database, so authorized infrastructure and database administrators may be able to access them when operating the service. Server credentials are kept out of browser code and access is limited to operational need.

Saved details on your device

The calculator saves your last-used birth details and selected city in this browser so you do not have to enter them again. It does not save the calculated chart or AI reading there. Select Clear details on this device in the calculator to remove those saved inputs. A private report may separately remember the identifier of your last-read chapter on this device, without storing the report text. To remove that reading position as well, clear this site's data in your browser settings.

Analytics

We also use Google Analytics on the English, Japanese and Traditional Chinese homepages to measure visits. Google Analytics uses analytics cookies. We do not load its tag on other pages, on homepages with query parameters, or when your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. We provide only the canonical homepage address and, for external referrals, the referring site's origin. URL parameters, fragments and internal referrers are excluded. Google advertising signals and ad personalization are disabled. Leaving a tracked homepage loads a new document so the tag cannot continue into shared charts, account pages or checkout. You can remove its cookies by clearing this site's browser data.

When enabled, we use Vercel Web Analytics to measure aggregate page visits. Vercel custom product events, such as whether a chart calculation succeeds or fails, are controlled by a separate feature flag and are currently disabled for this early-stage launch. Vercel Web Analytics does not use cookies and reports anonymized traffic information such as page path, referrer, approximate country, and device type.

We also count product actions through our own service, such as a completed chart, sign-in, report request, or checkout attempt. Only an approved event name, UTC date, and aggregate count are stored. These counters do not store cookies, session identifiers, account identifiers, URLs, referrers, event properties, or private content. They respect browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. Network failures may leave counts incomplete; confirmed payment and revenue totals come from verified order records.

Before an analytics event is sent, this site removes the complete query string and URL fragment and replaces private chart or report record identifiers with a generic route placeholder. Analytics events never include your birth date or time, gender, city, longitude, email, account identifier, calculated chart, AI prompt, or AI reading text. Authentication callback pages are excluded entirely.

Two-person compatibility data

If you use the compatibility calculator without signing in, your birth details are used for that calculation without creating saved account records. The form is not saved automatically. If you choose to sign in and continue, we may temporarily save the form in your browser for up to 30 minutes so it can be restored once after sign-in. Saving it to your account still requires your confirmation. Birth details, scores and analysis text are not included in URLs, search indexes or analytics events. The entire compatibility calculator and private report area are excluded from session recording.

A saved private analysis contains copies of both people's birth details, the chart calculations and supporting facts used at the time, the calculation-method version, the generated report, and a reference to the purchase that supplied its credit. Before displaying it, we check that it belongs to your account and that the purchase still provides access. Compatibility analyses use Gemini 4 Argon through Kie.ai by default, or GLM through BigModel when we explicitly select that backup; failed requests do not automatically switch providers. The selected AI provider receives the chart facts and calculation evidence saved for the selected relationship. The prompt excludes names, raw birth dates and times, city labels, email addresses and account identifiers. The model does not calculate the score. Deleting an analysis removes both copies of the birth details, the calculation evidence and the report text. We retain only the usage and purchase records needed to prevent duplicate processing and keep financial records. Deleting your account removes its private compatibility records under the account-deletion rules above. Follow-up questions and answers are stored encrypted with this pair’s analysis and are erased when you delete the analysis or your account. To answer a question, the AI provider receives the saved report, minimized frozen facts from both charts, your question and recent conversation. Questions may contain personal information you choose to type. This conversation is not added to either person’s long-term memory.

Session recording

When enabled, we use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site through session replays, heatmaps, and aggregate interaction signals such as rage clicks and scroll depth. Content typed into input boxes, numbers, and email addresses is masked by Clarity before it leaves your browser. Calculated chart results are additionally force-masked with Clarity's HTML masking attribute, so charts, birth details, and reading text are never uploaded to Clarity.

The recording script is not loaded at all on shared chart links (whose addresses contain the birth parameters needed to recreate the chart), authentication callback pages, or the private signed-in area, or the compatibility calculator. Navigating from a recorded page into those areas performs a full page load, so recording never continues into them. We never send Clarity your account identifier, email, or any custom identifier. Clarity keeps recordings for 30 days (a small labeled sample up to 9 months). A single user's data cannot be deleted from Clarity on request; discontinuing recording means removing the script and deleting the whole Clarity project. Clarity does not respond to browser Do Not Track signals; it supports Global Privacy Control and the aboutads.info opt-out. For visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, Microsoft requires an explicit consent signal; without it, sessions in those regions are fragmented and full replays are unavailable.

Shared chart links

If you choose to share a chart, the link contains the parameters needed to recreate it, including the date, time when provided, gender, and city. Anyone who receives that link may be able to see those details. Do not share a chart link if you need the birth information to remain private.

Chart images are generated locally in your browser from the visible preview. They include birth details when that option is selected; you can hide those details before downloading. No chart share link is embedded in the image. The chart itself may still reveal information about you, so review the preview before sharing a file.

AI readings and third parties

Free AI summary generation has ended. Previously saved summaries remain available in your account without generating them again. Supabase processes authentication and stored account data; Vercel and other infrastructure providers may process normal request metadata. Do not enter another person's sensitive birth details unless you have permission to do so.

One-time adult reports in English, Traditional Chinese or Japanese use Gemini 4 Argon through Kie.ai by default. We may explicitly select GLM, provided by Zhipu AI through BigModel, as a backup; a failed request does not automatically switch providers. We send calculated chart facts and their interpretation limits to draft the report, then send the same facts and draft for editing. These requests exclude your birth date and time fields, city, timezone, longitude, email, and account identifier. Chart facts can still be personal information. We save the finished report and its calculated fact snapshot in your private account; intermediate drafts are not retained as account records.

Historical paid-report formats may use DeepSeek for generation or retries. For that processing, we send calculated chart data, validated timezone and longitude when available, birth-time availability, and the reference date. The human-readable city label, email, and account identifier are not included in that AI prompt. Report follow-ups use Gemini 4 Argon through Kie.ai by default, or GLM through BigModel when we explicitly select that backup. The selected provider receives the saved report, its reference facts, your question, and prior completed questions and answers from the same conversation. A failed request does not automatically switch providers.

Consultation and person-specific memory

Consultation Chat and consultation reports use Gemini 4 Argon through Kie.ai. For each request, Kie processes the selected person’s name, chart facts, current timing context, your question, relevant conversation context and necessary memory excerpts. When memory is enabled, the service also uses Kie to extract or condense that person’s background. Consultation requests include the conversation and memory context described here, in addition to chart facts. We do not promise that providers retain no data or never use it for training; their own terms and policies govern their processing.

Long-term memory is separate for each person in your account and is enabled by default when you create a person. In Memory & privacy, you can inspect, correct, remove or clear it. Turning memory off preserves existing memories but stops loading them and saving new ones, and earlier conversations are no longer loaded as context. Visible conversation history remains until deleted. These account controls do not delete data already processed by an AI provider.

Deleting a person deletes that person’s conversations, memories and memory-compression backups. Deleting a saved chart also deletes all consultation people linked to that chart and their associated data, subject to any existing order-related deletion restriction. Creating a new person creates a new identity with no inherited memories. Other charts and their people remain separate.

For a subscription, we store the payment provider references, subscription status, billing-period dates and allowance records needed to manage access and renewal. The payment provider handles payment details and the self-service billing portal. Your consultation questions and memories are not payment data.

Your choices

You can use the calculator without signing in, choose whether to save a chart, purchase a report, ask report follow-up questions or create a shared link, clear locally saved details, and sign out at any time. Contact the site operator to request deletion of account records. For a privacy, payment, or deletion request, email support@bazicalculator.ai. We may retain the minimum transaction and support records needed for fraud prevention, accounting, dispute handling, or legal obligations after account deletion.
