What we process

When you use the calculator, the service processes the birth date, birth time, gender, and selected birth city needed to calculate a chart and apply true solar time. The free calculator does not require an account. Its calculation request is processed by our server without creating a saved AI-reading record.

Payments

Paid checkout may be unavailable unless it is explicitly enabled. When enabled, PayPal processes the payment approval and the service receives only the provider references and payment status needed to verify the order, deliver the report, and handle refunds or disputes. The checkout and purchase terms identify the current processor, price, delivery, and refund boundary before approval.

Order, entitlement, report, and payment-event records remain private and server-only. While checkout is disabled, the public payment routes fail closed and do not create new payment records. Payment records do not include your birth details or report text.

Accounts and saved readings

If you choose to save a chart, use the AI reading preview, or access a private report, Supabase provides passwordless email or Google authentication. We store your account identifier, email when supplied by the provider, validated birth parameters, the server-calculated chart, and any generated reading in a private account record. Your browser cannot query these private business tables directly. Our authenticated server endpoints re-check your account and record ownership and return only the data needed for the requested page. Records remain stored so you can load them again until you delete the records or your account.

If you rate a paid report, we store only the selected usefulness rating and an optional predefined improvement category. The feedback record does not copy your birth details, chart, report text, follow-up questions, or a free-form comment.

Supabase encrypts hosted project storage and backups at rest. The saved birth parameters, chart, and AI content are not end-to-end or field-level encrypted inside the live database, so authorized infrastructure and database administrators may be able to access them when operating the service. Server credentials are kept out of browser code and access is limited to operational need.

Saved details on your device

The calculator can save your last-used birth parameters and city in your browser's local storage so you can return without filling the form again. It does not save the chart result or an AI reading there. A private report can also save only the identifier of your last-read chapter on this device so you can resume; it does not store report text in local storage. Use Clear saved detailsin the calculator, or clear your browser's site data, to remove them.

Privacy-friendly analytics

When enabled, we use Vercel Web Analytics to measure aggregate page visits. Custom product events, such as whether a chart calculation succeeds or fails, are controlled by a separate feature flag and are currently disabled for this early-stage launch. Vercel Web Analytics does not use cookies and reports anonymized traffic information such as page path, referrer, approximate country, and device type.

Before an analytics event is sent, this site removes the complete query string and URL fragment and replaces private chart or report record identifiers with a generic route placeholder. Analytics events never include your birth date or time, gender, city, longitude, email, account identifier, calculated chart, AI prompt, or AI reading text. Authentication callback pages are excluded entirely.

Session recording

When enabled, we use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site through session replays, heatmaps, and aggregate interaction signals such as rage clicks and scroll depth. Content typed into input boxes, numbers, and email addresses is masked by Clarity before it leaves your browser. Calculated chart results are additionally force-masked with Clarity's HTML masking attribute, so charts, birth details, and reading text are never uploaded to Clarity.

The recording script is not loaded at all on shared chart links (whose addresses contain the birth parameters needed to recreate the chart), authentication callback pages, or the private signed-in area. Navigating from a recorded page into those areas performs a full page load, so recording never continues into them. We never send Clarity your account identifier, email, or any custom identifier. Clarity keeps recordings for 30 days (a small labeled sample up to 9 months). A single user's data cannot be deleted from Clarity on request; discontinuing recording means removing the script and deleting the whole Clarity project. Clarity does not respond to browser Do Not Track signals; it supports Global Privacy Control and the aboutads.info opt-out. For visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, Microsoft requires an explicit consent signal; without it, sessions in those regions are fragmented and full replays are unavailable.

Shared chart links

If you choose to share a chart, the link contains the parameters needed to recreate it, including the date, time when provided, gender, and city. Anyone who receives that link may be able to see those details. Do not share a chart link if you need the birth information to remain private.

AI readings and third parties

When you explicitly generate an AI reading, the service recalculates your chart on the server and sends the chart, validated timezone and longitude when available, birth-time availability, and current reference date to DeepSeek. The human-readable city label is not included in the AI prompt. Your email and account identifier are not included in that AI prompt. Supabase processes authentication and stored account data; Vercel and other infrastructure providers may process normal request metadata. Do not enter another person's sensitive birth details unless you have permission to do so.

Your choices

You can use the calculator without signing in, decline to generate an AI reading or create a shared link, clear locally saved details, and sign out at any time. Contact the site operator to request deletion of account records. For a privacy, payment, or deletion request, email support@bazicalculator.ai. We may retain the minimum transaction and support records needed for fraud prevention, accounting, dispute handling, or legal obligations after account deletion.
